CrossFit Open 2026 Schedule in Fulshear

CrossFit Open 2026 event at Blue Eagle Fitness & Nutrition in Fulshear, Texas featuring athletes rowing, jumping rope, and lifting during Friday Night Lights.

The CrossFit Open is back at Blue Eagle Fitness & Nutrition, and this is one of my favorite times of the year.

  • Not because of the leaderboard.

  • Not because of the scores.

Because of what happens when ordinary people decide to test themselves in front of their community.

If you’ve never done the Open before, this is your invitation.

Our regular 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM Friday classes will be canceled. The first heat will begin at 6 PM, and we’ll continue running heats back-to-back until everyone has completed the workout.

Also to note, every class on Friday will run the same workouts for the CrossFit Open.

2026 CrossFit Open Schedule at Blue Eagle

We’ll host three official Open events this year:

  • Friday, Feb 27 at 6 PM

  • Friday, March 6 at 6 PM

  • Saturday, March 14 at 9 AM

Each Friday night will be our version of Friday Night Lights. Energy high. Music up. Community packed in. Saturday morning will feel like a championship workout rolled into your favorite class.

Multiple Heats Available

We’ll run multiple heats at each event.

If you know you’re running late, no stress. Just send me a quick email at bryan@blueeaglefitness.com and I’ll slot you into a later heat.

If you want to be in an early heat, plan to arrive around 5:30 PM on Fridays so you can warm up properly and be ready to go when the first heat kicks off at 6.

This isn’t chaos. It’s organized intensity.

What Makes the CrossFit Open Special

The CrossFit Open is the largest participatory sporting event in the world. But at Blue Eagle, it’s personal.

You’ll see:

  • First pull-ups

  • First double-unders

  • First workouts finished Rx

  • Athletes who swore they would never “compete” stepping onto the floor anyway

You do not have to be elite. You just have to be willing.

Every workout has scaled and foundations options. The goal is not perfection. The goal is participation.

As Greg Glassman famously said, “The needs of the Olympic athlete and our grandparents differ by degree, not kind.” The Open simply gives you a reason to test where you are.

You Don’t Have to Compete to Compete

Let me say this clearly.

Even if you do not want to officially register, doing an Open workout with a full gym cheering for you is a completely different experience than a normal class.

  • Your name gets called.

  • A judge counts your reps.

  • People clap when you finish.

There is something powerful about that.

It builds confidence in a way quiet training never will.

Bring Your Family and Friends

This is a great opportunity to bring people into your world.

Family, friends, neighbors. All welcome.

It is especially powerful for kids to watch their parents try something hard. They see effort. They see courage. They see resilience.

That matters.

Feel free to bring light snacks and drinks to share. Please no alcohol inside the gym. We are here to perform, recover, and celebrate together.

Friday Night Lights Details

Fridays at 6 PM will have that big-event feel.

If you want to go early, arrive around 5:30 PM to warm up. We’ll help organize heats so everyone gets a fair shot and a proper start.

If you’re late, just email me and I’ll make sure you’re placed in a later heat.

No one gets left out.

Saturday, March 14 at 9 AM will feel like a classic community throwdown. Show up, warm up, and let’s get after it.

Why the Open Matters

At Blue Eagle Fitness & Nutrition, we talk a lot about structured strength and intentional progress.

  • The Open gives you data.

  • It gives you feedback.

  • It gives you a reason to train with purpose.

More importantly, it gives you proof.

  • Proof that you are stronger than you were last year.

  • Proof that you can handle discomfort.

  • Proof that you belong in this arena.

You don’t need to be the fittest in the gym.

You just need to show up.

If you have questions about heats, timing, or how to prepare, email me directly at bryan@blueeaglefitness.com.

Let’s make this one of the best Open seasons we’ve had.

In health,

Bryan
