"Show up. Stick to the process. One percent better every single day is how great athletes are built and how lives are changed."

Coach Ryan Grant has lived the athlete's journey from the inside out. Drafted into the NFL as a wide receiver out of Tulane University, he spent years at the highest level of professional football. What he learned in those years, about preparation, about the body, and about what it takes to compete and recover, became the foundation of everything he now brings to the coaching floor.

In 2019, that foundation was tested. A football injury took him off the field and, for a time, took the wind out of him entirely. He found himself out of shape and battling depression, a long way from the athlete he had been.

What carried him back was a commitment to the same process he now teaches: physical therapy, smarter nutrition, and consistent daily training, one percent better each day, until the version of himself he wanted to be came back into focus.

Today he describes himself as being in the best shape of his life. He trains every day, not just for himself, but to show up fully for his family and the people around him.

Ryan holds dual International Sports Sciences Association certifications in personal training for both adult and youth populations, along with an Anatomy of Speed certification and a Certified Performance Coach credential through the Parisi Speed School, one of the most respected names in athletic development. His specialties are speed, agility, and skills-specific training, and his approach is rooted in research and science. Proper form is not a detail to him. It is the whole point. He believes the movements his clients build in the gym should translate directly to their daily lives and to their performance on any field of play.

Ryan's favorite clients are kids. He sees youth athletics not just as sport, but as a place where confidence, character, and discipline take root. Outside the gym, he puts that belief into action by volunteering at his children's schools, participating in charity programs, and staying active in youth sports across the community.

What he is most proud of in his coaching career is not a number on a scale or a time on a stopwatch. It is the moment when his client finds personal confidence through consistency, when the process stops feeling hard and starts feeling like who they are.

If you are just starting out and wondering whether you can stay with this long enough to see real results, Ryan's message is simple: show up. Stick to the process. One percent better every single day is how great athletes are built and how lives are changed.
