"I told myself I was a fit and healthy person until I became just that."

Coach Amy Hall spent 35 years looking for the answer in the wrong places. She tried every diet. She started over more times than she can count. She was a textbook yo-yo dieter — someone who knew what she was supposed to do but could never make it stick — until 1999, when she discovered something that changed everything.

Habit-based nutrition coaching was not another diet. It was a different way of thinking about food, about consistency, and about what it actually means to take care of yourself. That discovery rewired how Amy approached her own health. She combined her new eating habits with five days a week of CrossFit, built a lean physique, and stepped into the competitive CrossFit arena — not as a one-time experiment, but as a sustained part of who she is.

Taking care of yourself is not a luxury. It is a necessity. That belief sits at the center of everything Amy teaches.

When Bryan asked her if she would be willing to try nutrition coaching herself, she was ready. She earned her Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certification, then her Level 2 Master Health Coaching Certification, and then added a Precision Nutrition credential in Sleep, Stress Management, and Recovery. Each one deepened her understanding of what actually drives lasting change. A few years later, she expanded her practice to personal training and added her CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification — motivated by a growing passion for teaching skills and technique to newer athletes.

The clients she holds closest are the ones who come in not knowing what they are doing and leave with real skills they can build on. She has also watched a nutrition client lose over 100 pounds and sustain that loss for years — a result that does not happen by accident. It happens when a person stops waiting to feel motivated and starts treating their health as a non-negotiable.

Her coaching is built on the same foundation that transformed her own life: habits, not heroics. Consistency over inspiration. When clients ask where to start, Amy does not talk about the destination. She talks about who they are becoming.

Outside the gym, Amy's life is full in the best way. She is a wife, a mother of three boys, and a grandmother to four. She is a retired CPA and business owner who now volunteers as treasurer and choir member at her church. Her interests span a wide range: hiking, cycling, competitive CrossFit, pickleball, piano, crocheting, and reading. She brings that same breadth of attention to her coaching — curious, patient, and genuinely invested in the person in front of her.

She has one belief she wants every new client to carry into their first session: tell yourself you are a fit and healthy person, and keep showing up until you become just that. It worked for her. And she has spent the last six years helping others find out it works for them too.
