How to Know If You Are Eating Protein: The Calculation
- Divide the number of calories in your food by the number of grams of protein. 
- Peanut Butter = 180 calories / 7 g of protein - Protein Ratio = 26 
- For 26 calories, you gain 1 g of protein 
 
- Egg Whites = 25 calories / 5 g protein - Egg Whiteβs Protein Ratio = 5 
 
- Chicken = 180 calories / 30 g protein - Chickenβs Protein Ratio = 6 
 
- Bread = 80 calories / 3 g protein - Breadβs Protein Ratio = 27
